Where we start

Show me the annoying part.

Friday

Every Friday someone copies 180 rows into another spreadsheet.

Morning

Someone checks the same websites by hand every morning.

Monthly

A two-hour report gets rebuilt from scratch every month.

This is the work worth fixing.

Real work

One small tool can change the economics of a problem.

A browser-extension build turned manual research into a repeatable process and uncovered meaningful business opportunity. The point is not the flash. It is the leverage.

The broader pattern shows up across the work: understand the repetitive spine, build the smallest useful tool, and keep the human judgment where it belongs.

How I help

Advise. Teach. Build.

Some businesses need a clear plan. Some need the team to get capable. Some just need the tool built. Start where the work is stuck.

01

Advise

Review workflows, separate useful automation from noise, and find the practical first move. The goal is a plan you can act on, not a pile of AI jargon.

How consulting works

02

Teach

Help people use AI tools safely and effectively, with the business judgment still in the driver's seat. The capability stays with your team.

How training works

03

Build

Create scripts, browser tools, workflow automations, and practical custom solutions for work that keeps repeating itself.

How building works

Why Homegrown

I'm not a lifelong programmer. That's the point.

Business problems came first: forms, reports, research, inbox work, and the nagging sense that there had to be a better way.

Modern tools made software building accessible, but the useful part was never hype. It was knowing the work well enough to describe what should happen, check the output, and keep improving the system. Homegrown AI exists to help other small businesses use that same leverage.

Starting points

What does this usually cost?

These are orientation points, not subscription tiers. The right scope depends on the problem and whether solving it is worth the spend.

Workflow / AI consultation A focused look at where automation or AI can actually help. Starting around $250-$500
Team training session Plain-language training for using AI tools safely and effectively. Starting around $500-$1,000
Small automation or script A practical tool for a repeatable workflow with clear rules. Often $500-$2,500
Larger custom build A broader tool or workflow that needs discovery before scope. Scoped after discovery

If the problem doesn't justify the cost, I'll tell you.
